No accounts, no cookies, no ads
GoLunch is a set of plain pages. We count how often they are read, never who reads them. Last updated October 4, 2026.
What we collect when you browse
Nothing that identifies you. GoLunch has no accounts, no cookies and no advertising. Every page is a plain file: the fonts, the maps and the scripts are served from golunch.app.
Like any website, the company that hosts our pages (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type for a short time, to deliver the page and to protect the site against abuse. We do not use it to follow you from page to page.
Anonymous usage statistics
To know which pages are useful, we count page views and clicks on a few buttons (such as "Call", "Get directions" or "Report a wrong price"), and what is typed in the search box. We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, set up without cookies: nothing is stored in your browser, and we build no profile of you.
To tell one visitor from another during a single day, PostHog computes an anonymous number from your IP address and browser type, with a key that is thrown away every day. The IP address itself is not kept, and the same visitor cannot be recognized from one day to the next. We see totals, not people. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, nothing is counted.
The "serving now" filter and the local time
The clock and the "serving now" filter run in your browser, from the time on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
When you write to us
The buttons "Report a wrong price", "Get listed" and "Suggest a lunch spot" open an email in your own mail app. If you send it, we receive your email address and what you wrote, and we use them only to answer you and to correct the page. We do not add you to a list, and we do not sell or share your address.
Information about restaurants
A restaurant page shows business information only: the name, the address, the phone number, and the lunch specials printed on the menu the restaurant publishes on its own website. Addresses and phone numbers come from public sources.
If you own or run a restaurant and want a page corrected or removed, write to us and we will do it.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you (at most, the emails you sent us) and ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
